We’ve had a wonderful Spring Break! We spent a lot of time outdoors and a lot of time relaxing.
We ate entirely too much and I spent many hours sitting on the sunny deck reading (apparently re-reading) a book.
I took out entirely too many of these things:
And read Dear John. I was convinced I missed this Nicholas Sparks book (love him), but I’m remember the whole thing as I’m reading. Apparently I’ve read the thing, but I don’t remember the ending. Only a few more pages and I’ll be done then I can watch the movie.
The kids played like crazy and we were blessed with beautiful days. They even played well together all week. Look, I have proof.

Dan came for the weekend and spent most of his time fishing with my Pawpaw- who caught like 4 little bitty fish.
We couldn’t have asked for a better or more relaxing Spring Break week.
Now I have to get ready for school… and work…

How many days until summer break?
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Dan for 9 years. I couldn’t ask for a better husband or father for my children!
We have two wonderful little boys. D3 is very smart, very sweet, and very spirited. He’s seven years old. L is very sweet, very cuddly, and very spunky. He is three years old.
My main job at this point in my life is mommy and I’m blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom most of the time. I also teach preschool part time and love it.
looks like fun! There must have been something in the air because Connor and Logan got along all week,too! I can only pray that they will be the same way this summer.
Looks like the perfect spring break! Ours starts this weekend – a camping we will go! Was it any warmer at the lake than what it has been lately?
Yes, it was actually very nice. Not quite short weather, but we ended up in short sleeves.
