Today was the first day of school.
And Daniel was excited, praise the Lord.
He got the teacher that he wanted and I have heard nothing but good things about her. So that helped his excitement level.
Dan and I both have fond memories of second grade, so I think Daniel is going to have a wonderful year!!
And I of course have to do my walk down memory lane of his past 2 first days of school:
As a side note, today is my birthday and I think the date is super cool this year: 8-9-10. 
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Dan for 11 years. I couldn’t ask for a better husband or father for my children!
We have two wonderful little boys. D3 is a very smart, very sweet nine year old. L is very sweet, very spunky five year old.
I teach reading & math part time. I’m blessed with a wonderful family!
