Christmas…

Before the year ends, I wanted to do a quick post to record our Christmas 2011. It was awesome and I’m kind of sad that it’s over! It went by entirely too quickly.

Jeremy, Santa’s elf stirred up all sorts of trouble in the days that he was with us. You can see his first few days of mischief here and here.

We had a lot of fun with Jeremy.

I didn’t take the first picture of my boys all dressed up on Christmas Eve and Christmas day! I can’t believe it, but they looked super handsome. J

I really didn’t take a whole lot of pictures on Christmas day either. I took pics of the kids opening toys and that was about it.

It was a great day. The kids loved everything. We had a nice church service. We had a yummy breakfast and wonderful lunch. We played. We rested. We had a fantastic Christmas!

We had one of the best Christmas seasons this year. Both boys were super excited and very appreciative. Both boys got the fun concept of gift giving and receiving and they both understood the true meaning of Christmas and were willing to share that with any and everyone! We have had a great break from school and spent a lot of time with one another. It’s really been wonderful.

2011 was pretty good to us and I pray that we here and you there may all have a super blessed 2012!!

A Peak into my House…

If you were to peak into my house today you would see people wearing pajamas and playing with new toys (even a boy riding a new bike around the house).

If you were to peak into my house today you would see a Christmas tree waiting to be disassembled and a couch full of decorations ready for Christmas boxes.

If you were to peak into my house today you would see lots of people (and animals) resting and all of my pretty Christmas cards still hanging on the Christmas tree.

I made a Christmas card blessing ring this year and LOVE it!

If you were to peak into my house today you would see a big ole mess and a sick boy lying on the couch playing video games.

Actually, maybe it’s best that you don’t peak into my house today…

The stars were brightly shining…

The four blog posts that never were…

It’s pretty obvious that I’ve had a hard time blogging since I got my new job. There have been dozens upon dozens of times that I’ve sat down to blog and just haven’t been able to focus on it. So, here are four blog posts in rapid form.

#1 Post: Luke and the Cowboy Birthday Party…

Luke had a ball at one of his best buddy’s birthday parties.  He wanted no part of riding the horse, but he rode the little wagon.  And was much too busy for a picture!

#2 Post: Wordless Wednesday: Hatman…

#3 Post: Our Awesome Thanksgiving…

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break at Dan’s brother’s house. I didn’t take very many pictures there, but we all had a wonderful time! There was lots of playing, children, food, shopping and movie watching.

The day before Thanksgiving we headed down to Legoland for the day. It was a surprise for the kiddos and they were so excited!

We had such a great time. The boys sweetly held hands and walked around. I had to take a picture to document such a momentous occasion. J

#4 Post: Wordless Wednesday: Back from the Library…
