Luke has definitely latched on to a couple of favorites this Christmas season.
He is LOVING the Grinch. The book we have read countless times and we’ve watched the cartoon about as much.
He even told me at one point that he wanted the Grinch to bring him toys instead of Santa. Ha!
He is also loving O Holy Night. He loves this song and sings it all the time. I was fortunate enough to get it on video the other night~ and it is quite the dramatic performance.

On the fridge with a message from Santa
I have not embraced the camera in quite a while, so I decided we needed a little mommy and sons picture.
We tried to snap a self portrait on our way out of the door to the kid’s church Christmas Party.
Luke found the weather outside to be ‘fweezin’ so he grabbed himself a hat. J
I hate having my picture made, but I always love a semi-decent pic of me and my boys!
We have a visitor this Christmas season and the kids are super excited.
Santa has entrusted us with one of his elves this year. He’s watching the boys and reporting back to Santa each night on what he sees. His name is Jeremy (or Germy if your Daniel and Germany if you are Luke).
We found him on Sunday morning in the fireplace with a note from Santa. And Monday morning we found him with some hot chocolate.
This morning he was reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. This gave D3 a big giggle! He’s been on a different page every time we check on him today~ he must be a speed reader. 
Jeremy seems to be bringing some added Christmas fun and cheer to the house this year!
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Dan for 11 years. I couldn’t ask for a better husband or father for my children!
We have two wonderful little boys. D3 is a very smart, very sweet nine year old. L is very sweet, very spunky five year old.
I teach reading & math part time. I’m blessed with a wonderful family!
